If you create coloring books for Amazon KDP using an AI tool such as Ideogram.ai, this prompt will make things a whole lot easier, especially if you’d like to create two versions of each coloring page: one fully colored and one not.
This is a great option when you want to add example pages to the back of your book covers.
Here’s the prompt I use:
First, you’ll want to create an account on Ideogram.ai.
While I haven’t tested this prompt on other platforms, so if you use a different program feel free to try it out. These days, I personally prefer ideogram over Midjourney, especially when working with typography, as it produces far more accurate output.
Once you’re logged into your Ideogram account, enter the following prompt:
Create two coloring pages: one not colored and one fully colored. The page features an adorable bumblebee by a hive. Coloring side: The bumblebee is outlined in black and white with no color, encouraging kids to color on the page.
Here’s an example of what Ideogram produced using this prompt:
You can also adjust the prompt so that the coloring page is partially finished by adding “partially colored” to the “Coloring Side” portion of the prompt or play around with other keywords such as slightly colored, etc.
It’ll produce something like this:
Have fun creating!
